概要: ヘルスケア分野におけるAIの活用は、健康状態を予見（Predictive）し、病気を予防（Preventive）し、個人ごとに異なる（Personalized）診断・治療を行う患者参加型（Participatory）のP4医療というアプローチを支援し、労働時間、事務業務、療費負担を削減、その結果として持続可能かつ安価な医療制度の提供につなげることが期待されています。より良い公共医療に向けて、ヘルスケア分野におけるAIアプリケーションの質の保証や、医療情報統合データベースに対する取り組みが始まっています。

当、ドイツ・日本・フランスの3ヵ国合同フォーラムでは、ヘルスケア分野におけるAIアプリケーションの質の保証、および医療情報統合データベースに対する各国のアプロ―チをテーマに取り上げ、学術界、産業界、官公庁、医療現場の有識者と共に、意見交換の場を設けます。各セッションにおいて、各国のスピーカーによるパネルセッション後には、参加者みなさまにもご参加いただく、ビジネスケースについての議論の場も予定されています。

Abstract: This year‘s Japan Germany Industry Forum (JGIF) focuses on artificial intelligence (AI) and its applications in healthcare with regard to new business opportunities. Medical care is highly developed in Germany and Japan. However, aging societies, constant technological advancements, and higher patient expectations pose the threat of unmanageable complexity and exploding healthcare costs. AI is revolutionizing diagnostics and drug development as well as treatment personalization and gene editing. JGIF will highlight the potential for Japanese AI developers in Germany’s healthcare market and show how AI is shaping the medical sector in Germany and Japan.
