Call for ProposalsBioökonomie International 2027
[Deadline: 2026/06/03] The Bioeconomy International programme has launched a new funding call to support joint research and development projects with partners in Japan and Queensland (Australia). Funded by the German Federal Ministry for Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR), the initiative promotes innovative and sustainable solutions along the bioeconomy value chain, from industry to agriculture. The call highlights the strong potential for German–Japanese collaboration, encouraging universities, research institutes and companies to develop joint projects and build long-term partnerships in research and innovation.

Apply now: Staff Exchange & MSCANews: EU funding opportunities for cooperation with Japan
[Deadline: 2026/04/16] One of the most popular EU funding programmes for collaboration with Japan is the Staff Exchanges programme of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA). Staff involved in research activities (not only researchers!) can spend up to 12 months in independent organisations located in countries associated with Horizon Europe.
