Designing Climate Action: International Summer School
Join a one-week English-language summer school on educational live-action role-playing (edu-larp) for climate action in Kyoto! Researchers, students, educators, and practitioners will explore how edu-larp can foster transformative learning through hands-on workshops in game design, facilitation, evaluation, and debriefing.

Building on previous larps for climate learning, participants will co-design and playtest new climate action scenarios while collaborating with an international network of scholars and educators. The program also supports future joint research and publications. Participation is free and includes a public lecture, playtest, and networking event. September 28–October 4, Kyoto University.
