[Deadline: 2021/07/09 17:00 (JST)] Are you involved in Sustainable Hydrogen research and interested in connecting with researchers in Germany and across Europe? The European Interest Group (EIG) Concert-Japan is now accepting proposals for “Sustainable Hydrogen Technology as Affordable and Clean Energy”.

The Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) is accepting proposals for collaborative research projects under the framework of EIG CONCERT-Japan with 13 funding partners participating from 12 European countries under the theme of Sustainable Hydrogen Technology as Affordable and Clean Energy.

The European Interest Group (EIG) CONCERT-Japan is an international joint initiative to support and enhance science, technology and innovation (STI) cooperation between European countries and Japan.

The call for proposals invites Japan and Europe-based researchers to develop more efficient, reliable, flexible and clean hydrogen-based technologies. We welcome research proposals taking cross-sectoral approaches, which bring natural and social sciences together. Proposals that involve various non-academic participants, such as practitioners, industry and other individuals and groups of the general public are also encouraged.

Projects selected for funding in this call will each receive support for a period of three years and totaling no more than approximately 18,000,000 JPY of which 30% represents indirect costs. It is expected that six projects will be funded in this EIG CONCERT-Japan Joint Call.
