Junior Experts Exchange Program 2020 for Japanese Young Scientists

Since a couple of years, young scientists from Japan and Germany are invited for a 8 days-visiting program to the other country. The Junior Experts Exchange Program provides an opportunity for natural scientists to get first-hand information of the research structure, scientific and technological developments by visits to research institutions and companies, contacts to other scientists in related fields of research etc.

The program is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Japan) and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (Germany). In 2019/20, the Junior Experts Exchange Program will focus on “Medical Biotechnology, especially Cancer and Alzheimer research”.

Invited are up to 8 Japanese young researchers (under 40) from research institutes and companies. The program in Germany will take place from September 19 to September 27, 2020. Deadline for application is April 30, 2020.
