International Funding Announcement for Quantum Technologies (BMBF)

[Deadline: 2023/11/15] The BMBF has published the funding announcement “Quantum International – International Cooperation in Quantum Technologies”, which is also open to partners from Japan.

Eligible to apply are commercial enterprises as well as universities and non-university research institutions. Applicants are required to have a plant or branch (company) or another entity serving the non-commercial activities of the funding recipient (universities, research institutions) in Germany at the time the grant is paid out.

The funding is divided into two modules A – “Developing Technology” – and B – “Motivating, Developing and Training Specialists and Talents”. The deadlines for submitting project outlines are 15 May and 15 November of each year.
