[Deadline: 2023/03/31 or 2023/09/30] Are you a doctoral student or postdoc and would love to experience life and work in a state-of-the-art German research ecosystem for some time? The AROP program at the RWTH Aachen University offers travel grants and scholarships for international doctoral candidates and postdocs.

AROP – short for Advanced Research Opportunities Program – is an RWTH Aachen University funding program that offers travel grants and scholarships to support research stays of international doctoral candidates and postdocs. Applications from any Japanese university or research institutions are possible. The goal of the program is to strengthen and intensify bilateral relations between RWTH Aachen University and international universities or research institutions of strategic relevance.
Among other purposes, you may use your research stay to work on joint research projects and publications and to initiate joint projects in the field of capacity building.
