The open seminar “Recent Research in Non-Destructive Testing of Infrastructure and Machinery” is part of the two-week bilateral symposium held between the Tokyo Institute of Technology, TU Braunschweig and German Aerospace Center (DLR) with the aim of starting a joint research project in the future.

Reliable damage monitoring technologies designed for the application in pressure vessels for hydrogen storage made from carbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP) play an important role on the way to a sustainable application of hydrogen and therefore in the transition to green energy. On Septermber 1st the topic is shifted towards the application on infrastructure and machinery during the open seminar held at Kyoto University. The seminar is also intended to give room for exchange among all participants in terms of an open discussion. After each seminar, a reception will be held, where all participants can further exchange individually and enlarge their network.

We are looking forward to interested participants from the fields of research, industry and society.
