Using a new format – International Innovation Talks (IIT) – BDI is promoting industry-related collaboration directly relevant to the SDGs, building innovation-bridges in times of political protectionism and laying ground for concrete follow-up industry innovation projects.

Coorganised with DWIH Tokyo, this edition will focus on Japan’s unique concept of Society 5.0. Embraced by the Japanese government, industry and society, it serves as a road map into a more sustainable future. In the International Innovation Talk on Japan, leading German and Japanese experts will present and discuss the concept of Society 5.0.
