Leveraging Clinical Data for Research: The MIRACUM Consortium in the German Medical Informatics Initiative

Following his contribution to the Japanese-German-French Forum on AI and Healthcare (2 Dec 2019), Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Ganslandt, will visit Kyoto and provide a lecture on a topic from the field of digital health.

He will address the issue of data acquisition and utilisation in a talk as part of the series „Joint Lecture“ organized by Kyoto and Heidelberg University (DWIH main supporter). Prof. Ganslandt is the Executive Director of the Heinrich-Lanz Centre for Digital Health and head of the Department for Biomedical Informatics, Heidelberg University (Medical Faculty Mannheim). Prof. Tomohiro Kuroda, Ph.D., of the Institute for Medical Informatics, Graduate School of Medicine and Faculty of Medicine, Kyoto University will offer comments on the talk to spark a dialog between both researchers.
