Keynote Lecture: “Gender Equality in STEM Japan: The Problem of Women-Only Affirmative Action”
Prof. Hiromi M. Yokoyama, Professor of Sociology of Science at the Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics (Kavli IPMU), University of Tokyo, specializing in Science, Technology, and Society (STS) will give a lecture on one of the key challenges of Gender Equality in the STEM subjects, the practice of women-only affirmative action.
